John Breed

John Paul Breed, age 88, of Henderson, NV passed away on 05/11/2023 in Las Vegas. John was born in Detroit, Michigan to Paul and Faith Breed on 08/17/1934. He graduated from McKensie High School and Henry Ford College in Detroit, Michigan. John was a proud Army veteran of the Korean War. John was married 48+ years to the love of his life, Evelyn Rose Gilchrist Breed. John’s 46 year law enforcement career included the Detroit Police Department, Federal Police on Hoover Dam, and the Clark County School District. He was President of the Nevada Jackpots ( retired Detroit Police officers in Nevada).
John is preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Marie, his sister, Carol and his daughter, Jennifer.

John is survived by his wife, Evelyn, his children, Sandra (Eugene), John Jr (Stacy), and Marcy, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one on the way.
John’s siblings are brothers Paul and Troy and sisters Marie and Linda.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Andrew Mueller, will be Tuesday 05/16/2023 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Las Vegas at 4 PM.
