John Howard known to all as ""Jack"" passed peacefully at the age of 79 on May 5th at 11:30pm. He made his transition with loved ones by his side at Nathan Adelson Hospice. Ironically, he left us at the same hour of time his beloved wife Ginger did 6 years ago. His family and close friends believe she was there to lead him onto his next journey.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Jack was a hard working man his whole life. He was an iron worker and a brick mason and took pride in the work he did with his strong hands throughout the years. Those who knew and loved him will miss his Irish spirit. After moving to Las Vegas, NV with his wife and family he spent many years in service to the community through the Sons of Erin. The charity work he helped to coordinate meant a lot to the people he helped and worked with, and it meant something great to him. Inside his strong exterior was a man with great heart! He was a New York Giants fan and had a great Irish sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He will be missed very much on this earth. He is survived by his son John, his two daughters Debbie and Corina, 10 grandchildren and 9 great children. Many close extended family & friends. His family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to the caring nurses at Desert Springs hospital and to the staff at Nathan Adelson Hospice in his final hours for bringing comfort and care.
Visitation will be Friday May 12th from 5pm-8pm at Davis Funeral Home located at 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119 in the main chapel. Final services will be held on May 13th at 12pm at Davis Funeral Home. There will be early visitation beginning at 11am before the service.
