John Rubin

John Rubin, 85, a maitre d at the Lido de Paris in the Stardust Hotel and Casino, of Las Vegas, passed away April 27, 2013. He was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Montreux, Switzerland, and was a 60year resident of Las Vegas. He was an avid skier and also enjoyed windsurfing. He came to Las Vegas in the early 1950s, and was in the food and beverage business for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Pat Rubin and her son and daughter, Bill and Susan Wade. Celebration of life will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 3, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice .
