Johnny Conner

Johnny Conner was born October 20, 1950 in E. Saint Louis, Illinois to Jimmie and Ozella Connor (who preceded him in death). Johnny departed life on March 6, 2021. He attended Mission High School and the Reserve Officers Training Corps in San Francisco, he also obtained a deploma in business administration at HEALD College in San Francisco, California.

Johnny worked over 33 years in the Culinary industry working at the Las Vegas Hilton/ Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. He was a member of the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 & Teamster Local 631. He officially retired in December 2020. Johnny was the oldest of 7 children, one brother who preceded him in death (Jimmy). Johnny leaves to cherrish his memory two brothers Eugene & Larry (Shirley), three sisters Felicia Lloyd, Janice and Shalonda Connor, Vanessa Connor, (Sister-in-law), several Aunts, Uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Johnny was an honorable and spiritual man, he believed in the higher power of God. He joined Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Las Vegas, NV in 2004 and was later baptized in 2006 under the leadership of Pastor Robert E. Fowler, Sr.

His love in life was family and friends, he enjoyed entertaining, cooking and traveling. He had a remarkable since of humor and loved making people laugh. He also was a big San Francisco 49'ers fan. Johnny brought love, joy, and hope to anyone whose life he touched. Johnny's spirit was beautiful inside and out; his smile and infectious personality will be missed by all.
