Jose Luis Barrientos

Jose Luis Barrientos, 63, of Mexico City, passed away on December 2, 2020, at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Jose was born in Mexico City to Catalina Gutierrez and Andres Barrientos on December 20th of 1956.

Jose was married for over 34 years, family a cornerstone of his values. Jose worked day in and out to ensure his children had the opportunities not afforded to him. Jose, like all of us, was not perfect, but he was perfectly human and everything he did was in the spirit of supporting not only the family he helped establish but the family he came from.

Jose is preceded in death by his mother, Catalina Barrientos, who passed away on June 10, 2020. An unexpected reunion, due to global conditions Jose was not able to be by his mother’s side upon her passing, but now both mother and son can rest in peace.

Jose is survived by his wife Antonia Avelar Barrientos, and his sons David and Eric Barrientos. A loving husband and father who will be remembered as such.

Visitation will be held from 3pm-6pm (EST) on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the Davis Funeral Home, located at 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
