Joseph David Gerken

Joseph David Gerken, 67, of Henderson NV., passed away on May 2nd 2020 Henderson, NV. Joe was born in Omaha Nebraska to Bonnie and Elmer Gerken on December 13th 1952.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce and nephew Kyle King.

Joe is survived by his wife Karen Gerken; his children, Joe Jr., Lindsay, Amber and Nathan: his 5 sisters and 4 brothers; his beloved grandchildren Alexis, Mady, Nicholas, Samie, Evan, Kaiden and Paxton.

Joe served a distinguished career in Law Enforcement.  After retiring he became an active member of the Brother of the Shield.  In lieu of flowers, Joe's family requests donations be made to brothersoftheshield.com

Visitation will be 4-5pm May 8th 2020 at Davis Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 May 9th at Davis Funeral Home.
