Joseph Robert Hieb Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph "Joey" Robert Hieb, Jr. announce his passing on August 6, 2020 in Henderson, Nevada at the age of 31. Joey was born in Fort Ord, CA to Joseph and Belinda Hieb on October 5, 1988. Joey will be lovingly remembered by his parents Joe and Belinda Hieb, Sister Jennell Riggs, Brother in Law Kraigg Riggs, Niece Alivya Riggs, Nephew Kolton Riggs, Grandmother Helen Eugenio, Grandparents Jerome and Georgian Hieb. Joey was preceded in death by his Grandfather Rodolfo Eugenio.

Joey attended San Diego State University, graduated in December 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Sociology but his passion has always been in the Hospitality world. After college graduation he remained living in San Diego, Ca and recently moved back with his family in Henderson, NV in March 2020.

Joey was a big hearted, silly, funny, respectful, humble and loveable soul. He was always the class clown, life of the party no matter what occasion it was or who he was with and was such a great athlete beginning in his toddler years. Joey always made sure he reached out to people just to check in and stay in touch to say "hi, howya doing" and if you were one of those lucky ones all you could do is smile and be happy to hear from him no matter how far and long (time) in between. He will forever be remembered for his funny sound effects, his goofy personality, his big bear hugs and his beautiful smile.

Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Saturday, 8/22/20 followed by a private family service and mass at 1pm at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park. The Hieb family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude for all the thoughts and prayers and expressions of sympathy during the hardest time in their lives.
