On August 1, 1946, Juanito ""Johnny"" Acoba was born in the Philippines from the love between his parents, Justino and Juliana Acoba. Johnny studied and excelled as an Engineer. He later moved to Hawaii to begin a prosperous life with his then wife Virgie Acoba and started a wonderful family.
Johnny cherished his new beginning in Hawaii and developed a rewarding career in the hospitality industry on the island of Kauai. He loved the island paradise and enjoyed its beauty of fishing and agriculture. As the union between his wife welcomed three children, Johnnie, Joel, and Virginia Acoba, he shared his love of fishing, sports, and planting island fruits with them.
He then left the serenity of the islands and moved to Las Vegas, NV to be with his family and experience the city life. He loved the bright lights of Vegas just as much as he loved the falls of Wailua. He cherished the opportunities that was given to him and kept all memories close to his heart.
Juanito ""Johnny"" Acoba passed away on November 21, 2017. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Justino and Juliana Acoba.
