Judson Walter Blount Sr.

June 12, 1930 — June 8, 2011

Judson W. Blount Sr. was born on 6121930 in Washington DC. He attended school at Bladensburg High School where he graduated in 1948. In his early years his biggest passion was music. He made his living playing in jazz bands for 15 years he played the bass fiddle as well as the drums. He was a very talented musician. His favorite piece of music was Romeo Juliet by Tchaikovsky. His favorite musician was Mr. Count Basie.

He soon fell in love for the first time and was married in 1955. Sometime later he had children. They became his new passion but his love for music never died. He worked for Rohr Ind. from 1965 to 1990 where he retired.

He then went to Boeing where he worked from 1991 to 1993 where he retired a second time. From that moment on he spent his days just how he wanted. He would always say the love of his life was Danni his dog.

Judson was an amazing grandfather, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was kind, generous and loyal to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his son daughter in law Judson W. and Chantall Blount Jr. His daughter daughter in law Mrs. Julie Penny Blount.
His son Michael Blount.

Grandchildren are Brandon Blount, Tarra Blount, Stavin Blount, Lula Blount and Jewel Blount.
