Julia Danheiser

April 2, 1937 - September 14, 2020

LAS VEGAS, NV – Julia Danheiser passed away peacefully at the Nathan Adelson Hospice on September 14, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with an incurable blood disease as well as complications due to chronic heart disease.  Prior to a briefly entering Hospice Care Julia lived comfortably for a short while at the Wentworth Assisted Living Center in Las Vegas.  Born on April 2, 1937 in New York , Julia was raised and schooled in Manhattan and Astoria, NY and moved to Las Vegas in 1997 with her husband Stuart, who since passed away in 2002.  She loved her family and enjoyed a full life complete with various entrepreneurial activities in fashion and design. 

She is survived and dearly missed by her siblings, Lynn Marie, Louis, John and George and her in-laws, Barry, Pilar and Linda and their children, grandchildren and great grandchild.  She will also be missed by her friends who loved her for her kindness and sense of fun and good times.  She was a pet lover and leaves behind her dear cat Rosie who is now being well cared for by a kind friend along with other friendly felines.  A celebration of Julia’s life will be held in the not too distant future so that all who loved her can gather to share stories and celebrate her life.

A special note to the staff of Nathan Adelson Hospice and Wentworth Assisted Living who all treated Julia with great care and compassion. Interment is on September 24, 2020 at Davis Memorial Park at 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
