Karlisa Lynn Charlie

Karlisa Lynn Charlie-Zunis, 44. of Las Vegas, passed away on July 13th. 2024 in Las Vegas. 

Karlisa Lynn Charlie-Zunis was born in Anchorage, Alaska. to Clare Charlie & Ron Eddy Whitcraft on February 4th.1980. 

Karlisa grew up in Anchorage, AK around friends and family and graduated from Diamond High School. After high school, she moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1998 where she attended classes at the College of Southern Nevada. Karlisa started dating her husband in the summer of 2003 and married Christopher L. Zunis on October 31st. 2006, then renewed her marriage vows in May of 2012. Karlisa worked in the hospitality industry bringing joy and laughter to all of her co-workers and patrons. Karlisa was always the first to offer a handshake or hug, never hesitating in loving someone to the fullest. Karlisa lived to make her friends, family and pets feel happy and loved. She was an amazing wife, friend, and daughter. Karlisa was incredibly beautiful both on the inside and out and always willing to help any person or animal in need. She was extremely creative and artistic with a deep love and knowledge of all things 80's, especially the music and fashion of that decade. Karlisa was an exceptional cook and enjoyed sharing photos of her newest creation. Her love and compassion for animals was unparalleled. She would have saved every neglected animal on the planet if she could. She was all about being funny and making just about every moment a laughable one. Karlisa \possessed a sharp witty sense of humor that brought light and happiness to everyone she knew and met. Karlisa will truly be missed by all of her family, friends, and her two dogs, Punkin and Spanky. 

Karlisa Lynn Charlie-Zunis is preceded in death by her father, Ron Eddy Whitcraft, and brother, Ron David Whitcraft. 

Karlisa Lynn Charlie-Zunis is survived by her husband, Christopher L. Zunis, brother Richard Whitcraft, and mother, Clare Charlie. 

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm. on Saturday the 10th. of August. at Davis Funeral Home located at 1401 S. Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89146.
