Kathrine Helene Wolkowicz

Katherine Helen Wolkowicz, 68 years old, of Chicago, IL, passed away on November 11th, 2019 in Henderson, Nevada.  Katherine was born in Chicago, IL on January 14th, 1951 to Helen Wierciak and Eugene Wierciak.

Katherine graduated from Holy Family Academy in June of 1969.  Shortly after graduation, she married Wayne G. Wolkowicz on February 28, 1970 in Chicago, IL.  Katherine proceeded to have 2 children, Wayne and Alicia. Katherine worked at Elmhurst Memorial hospital as a Patient Care Technician and then for Elmhurst Center for Health as a Data entry processor until she retired to Henderson, Nevada in 2014 with her sister Claudine.  Although she missed her family back in Chicago and in Tennessee, she enjoyed her time in Las Vegas where she had many happy memories.  She loved when family would come for a visit as it always raised her spirits.  She loved the warmth and sunshine of the desert and playing her favorite machines at the local casinos.  When her health was better, she was always up for an adventure and going for drives.

Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Eugene, and her brother, Martin Belcher.  She was looking forward to being reunited with those that she lost in heaven.

Katherine is survived by her children, Wayne J. Wolkowicz and Alicia H. Miller, sister Claudine Seidensticker and brother Anthony Wierciak; Grandchildren: Madelinn, Ross, Mason, and Chloe.
