Keith Lynn Moore, known as Lynny to his closest friends and Immediate family, quietly passed on to the Lords Kingdom Saturday, November 9, 2013, after a long illness. Lynny was born July 30, 1949, in Hillsboro, Illinois. He attended Rancho High School in Las Vegas. Immediately after graduation, he joined the U.S. Army in September 1969, during which Lynny served the nation with distinction during the Vietnam War. He served in the combat positions during the war until he was able to return home to family and friends. January 1980, Lynny met his future wife, Carol, and soon they fell in love and sometime thereafter were married. Lynny found employment with a local contract management company, doing maintenance support for many Las Vegas major businesses, a position held until retirement. He will be joined in his new Heavenly home by his father, Keith Moore and grandparents, Magram and Pagram Lewis and Mom and Dad Moore. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Ann Moore nee Hallett his mother, Nancy Moore and his sister and brother in law, Gloria and Chuck McCoy. He is also survived by his stepson, Billy Reiter niece, Denise Greer nephew, David McCoy and greatnieces and greatnephews. There will be a short memorial service at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, with burial to follow, both at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City. Flowers or remembrances may be sent to the memorial location.
