Kenneth (Kano) A. Baca, 67, husband, father, brother, son, and friend died on December 5, 2020 in Las Vegas Nevada. He was preceded in death by his father, Andres Baca and his siblings Andrew and Cynthia Baca and Maternal Grandparents Nabor A. and Julia Nelson Tenorio and Paternal Grandparents Francisco and Leandra Ulibarri Baca.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Larysa, and his children, twins Brian and Sophia of the family home. They all resided in the family home in Las Vegas. He also leaves behind his mother Polly Baca; his brother Alfred Baca and his wife Barbara; his brother Arthur Baca and his wife Anastacia; his sister Julie Delgado and her husband Richard; his sister Laura Ortega and her husband Aaron; along with many nieces and nephews.
In his professional career Kenny was a Union Electrician where he worked at Las Vegas hotel conventions and trade shows and national defense electrical system projects, retiring in 2010. He graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1971 and was a stand-out in football and track and attended NM Highlands University. He served honorably in the US Army where he was a paratrooper and M.P. in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
His outdoor hobbies included hiking, rock climbing, scuba diving and rappelling. When family members would visit him, some family members were anxious to go out and experience the night life, but Kenny would take them out to the mountains to hike instead.
Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid restrictions, the burial of cremains will be private for the family.
