Kenny Ray Carter, 71 passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sept 9, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. Born in Fredericksburg, VA, to Jack and Donna Marie Roberts (Hinkle), Kenny was a proud veteran. He served in the Army and was later transferred to the Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1971, earning several medals and an honorable discharge.
He is survived by his sibling Stanley (Lisa) Roberts of Ely, NV, his Uncles Gerald (Nettie Mae) Hinkle of Salt Lake, and Carl (Armenda) Hinkle of Las Vegas, NV. and his daughter Tanya Prince (Carter), 2 grandsons 1 great granddaughter, son Cody Carter, and daughter Heidi Bagley of Salt Lake City UT Kenny is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
