December 11, 1952 - April 14, 2015

On April 14, 2015, Kevin Gallagher, devoted husband, father, and friend left this world after an heroic battle with a recurrence of Melanoma.

Kevin leaves behind his wife, Imelda, his daughter, Kayla and one brother, Martin Gallagher.

Kevin was born to a military family in Montgomery, Maryland and eventually settled in Reno, Nevada and finally in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was involved in the gaming business in management and bartending in local casinos for over twenty years.

While on vacation to the Philippines with a friend in 1992, he met his beautiful wife, Imelda whom he later married in Manila in 1994.

Their daughter, Kayla, was born at Sunrise Hospital April 24, 1997 and will graduate from the Las Vegas Academy in a few weeks. Imelda and Kayla were the center of Kevin's world and he was so proud of them.

Kevin was a loyal and devoted friend, always ready to share a laugh or give a helping hand to someone if he could. There are so many people who think of him as a friend.

Kevin loved animals and was a special champion for them. He rescued his cats, Sheila and Luxor, his dogs, Lucky and CoCo and they realized what a good man he was and gave him unconditional love for saving them.

Kevin will be remembered as a kind and loving person, the essence of a gentleman. The world is a bit sadder without him in it, but we will think of him with love and respect and he will be missed by all who knew him.
