Lacarl Lee Lander

Lacarl Lee Lander was born on November 14, 1953 to Leslie Lacarl Lander and Olena Mae Lander (née Blackburn) in Downey, Ca .He passed away March 12, 2025, in Laughlin, NV.

Lee was always a curious and ambitious individual. He was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 12, since December 2, 1989, following in his father's footsteps. He was a remarkable crane operator. He later moved on to the Operating Engineers Training Trust, finally, deserving of retirement, from the Operating Engineers Certification Program as the Certification Director, in November 2018.

Lee loved discovering new gadgets and technology and learning every detail about them. One of his favorite hobbies was looking into family history on Ancestry.com. He loved sharing stories of the past. He was an avid sports fanatic, with one of his favorite teams being the 2024 World Series Champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

More into retirement, Lee enjoyed time with his beloved wife, Dorothy (Dorrie), fur babies, in their little desert oasis. His larger (louder ;)) than life presence will be missed dearly, for the rest of our days.

Lee is predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Olena Lander, first wife, Barbara Lynn Lander. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lyn Lander, his Brothers, James Roy Lander (Karen), Daryl John Lander (Debora), two Nieces, Erica Lander and Sara Lander, his Children- Lisa Vandegrift (Jeff), Robert Lander (Melissa), Charles Lander (Burgundy), Sergio Guerrero, Celina Guerrero, his grandchildren- Kelsey Vandegrift (Dusten), Breanna Lee (Taylor), Madison Lander, Cameron Lander, Tyler Lander, Sean Lander and Reagan Leslie and two great-grandchildren- Kaesyn Phipps and Kehlani Lee.
