Lance C. Lozo, 60, of Las Vegas passed away on November 20th, 2019 in Pahrump, Nevada.
Lance was born in Portland, Oregon to Richard J. Lozo and Janet K. Lozo on December 24th, 1958.
Growing up, Lance was always active in school. He attended Parkrose High School in Portland, Oregon where he played football, sang in a choir group, and was a talented saxophone player for his high school marching band. After high school, he attended community college for a few years before entering the workforce. In Oregon, he worked at Fred Meyer where he met and fell in love with his wife Stephanie. They were married on August 14th, 1989 and together, they had four beautiful children: Kathrine, Alexandra, Krystal, and Michael. He was a loving family man who devoted much of his time and energy to his wife and his four children to ensure they had everything they needed to be happy and successful in life. In the early ’90s, Lance moved with his family to Las Vegas where he worked as a Chauffer in the transportation industry for over 25 years. He loved being a member of the Las Vegas community and enjoyed meeting new people anywhere he went. Not only did he enjoy meeting new people, but he genuinely delighted in helping others and would jump at the opportunity to help a stranger in need. Lance’s interests included playing musical instruments, working on cars and computers, refereeing high school football, and occasionally flying small planes.
Lance is preceded in death by his grandmother Katherine Lozo, his Aunt Lucille Bickford, His Uncle Max Bickford, and his father Richard J. Lozo.
Lance is survived by his wife Stephanie Lozo, his four children: Kathrine Lozo, Alexandra Lozo, Krystal Lozo, and Michael Lozo, his stepdaughter Heather Stevens, his daughter-in-law Daria Lozo, his brother Blake Lozo, his mother Janet K. Lozo, his grandsons Jaylen Stevens and Adrian Stevens, and his granddaughter Lucy Lozo.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at Davis Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Oregon at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
