Landon Jay Nield

Landon Jay Nield, 31, of Las Vegas, died December 7, 2011 near Lake Mead National Recreation area in Clark County, Nevada.

Landon was born on May 22, 1980 in Afton, Wyoming one of fifteen children to White Eagle Kent H. and Camilla Marie Richmond Nield.

On June 4, 2011 he was sealed for time and eternity in the Las Vegas LDS Temple to Gabriela Orozco.

Landon was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. He loved life and lived every day to the fullest, never compromising his values. Landon loved to serve others and to make people laugh.

He was a helicopter pilot for seven years working in Florida, New York, and Nevada. Over the course of his career he worked as a Helicopter Instructor as well as most recently a Helicopter Tour Pilot. He also enjoyed the outdoors and fourwheeling

He is survived by his wife Gabriela children, Izannette and Emilian Carranza parents, White Eagle Kent H. and Camilla Nield six brothers and six sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints 7670 S. Bruce St. Las Vegas.

A memorial fund has been set up at Wells Fargo under the Landon Nield Memorial Fund.
