Larry (Tim) Paul Sneddon passed away peacefully in his sleep at eighty-one years of age, on January 24, 2020. He was a long time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born in Ogden, Utah on May 1, 1938, to Scott and Annabelle Sneddon, where he spent his youth exploring the outdoors and beating up anyone who crossed him. Tim became an avid boxer in his youth and a Golden Gloves Champion in 1957. He boxed for the U.S. Navy during his service from 1958-1962.
In June of 1968, Tim married the love of his life, Jeanne, and immediately began losing fights for the first time. Together they raised a family of five children, four sons, and one daughter.
Tim had a passion for the beach, scuba diving, camping, boxing, and his Austin Healey sports car named Agnes.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents R.C. Scott and Annabelle Sneddon; his brothers, Russ and Scott; as well as his sons, Allan and Thomas Sneddon.
Tim is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Jeanne; his sons, Christopher and Paul; his daughter, Sara Poyfair; his four granddaughters; and his sisters, Donna Evans, Linda Mullen, and Anne Prisbrey.
Funeral Services will be held on February 1, 2020, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building located at 6602 W. Twain Ave Las Vegas, NV. 89103
The viewing will begin at 10 am, with the Funeral Service beginning at 11 am. Tim will be interred at Davis Memorial Garden 6200 South Eastern.
