Le Roy Bybee, 91, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away August 15, 2011. Le Roy was born September 26, 1919, in EI Dorado Springs, Missouri, and was a 17year resident of Nevada. Le Roy served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a retired salesman at Montgomery Wards.
Le Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Bybee.
Le Roy is survived by his sons, Larry D. Bybee of Lake Havasu City, Dennis L. Bybee and wife Debra of Aurora, Mo., and Ronald G. Bybee of Lake Havasu City daughter, Pamela D. Whitaker of Lake Havasu City daughterinlaw, Monika Seidel 16 grandkids 15 greatgrandkids and 1 great great granddaughter 2 sisters, Delores Davis and Velma Martin of Joplin Missouri. Born in EI Dorado Springs, Missouri. Raised in Joplin, Missouri. Married Frances Wilson on January 19th, 1941.
Le Roy worked as a bartender in Joplin, Missouri for 15 years at Wilders. Served his country honorably in WW II in Italy May 1944 January 1946 as a Surgical Technician.
He had 3 sons, Larry, Dennis and Ronald and 1 daughter, Pamela. Moved to Orange County California in 1956 worked at Aerojet General as an Accountant then worked in Retail Sales as a salesman for Montgomery Wards in Huntington Beach and Lakewood California. Retired from Montgomery Wards and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in March 1986. Lost his wife of 62 years of marriage Frances in February 2003.
Le Roy passed away peacefully with his family, son Larry, daughter Pam, and grandson, Mikey, at his side in his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on August 15th, 2011. Visitation will be held 48 p.m. Sunday, August 21st. Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 22nd , both at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119
