Lear Litt, age 75, passed away suddenly on August 20, 2020, in Las Vegas. Lear was born in New Orleans, LA to Curtis Armand and Delores Whitley on August 30, 1944. Lear graduated from G.W. Carver Senior High School in 1963, after which she married her High School sweetheart and the love of her life, David Litt Jr. Because of his military service, Lear was able to see and travel to different parts of the country and the world. She enjoyed singing and was active in the choirs at St. Bernadette and St. James Catholic Church. She also loved going to the casinos, playing the slots and card games.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, both grandparents, her Aunt Wilma, her sisters Paulina and Delores and her brother Walter. She is survived by her husband, David, two children Monique and David III (Gingi), her brothers and sisters William, Jerome, Dwight, Marcel, Leary, Glen, Marshall, Yolanda, Ada (Tony), and Josie, grandchildren Julian, Haleigh, Danielle, Jada, Quinn and her uncle Marshall Coleman.
A private family service will be held at 8:00 AM on September 4, 2020, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery.
