Lee Alan Novak

Lee Alan Novak, age 84, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2011. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy June 13, 1946 and served in World War II on the USS Bremerton from 19431946. Lee married Dorothy J. Mergenthaler Sept. 6, 1947. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Feb. 22, 2001 and grandson, Daniel Sugrue, July 25, 1989. He is survived by his brother, Vernon Novak of San Antonio. four children, Bonnie L. Novak, Patricia A. Sugrue Stephen, Thomas l. Novak Angela and Kenneth A. Novak Andrea 10 grandchildren, Lawrence Stone Mosko Emily, Heather Tracy, Gregory Mosko Krissy Briana Solorzano, Megan Nicholson Jeff, Douglass Sugure, Kylen Novak, Alexa and Siena Novak and six greatgrandchildren, Connor Tracy, Owen Stone Mosko, Caden Tracy, Chloe and Cole Solorzano and Logan Mosko. Services will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 3, with visitation and family reception to follow, all at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
