Leroy Maniord

Leroy Maniord, 72y.o., of Henderson NV., passed away on December 30, 2018 in Henderson.

Leroy was born in Phoenix AZ. to Willis & Mildred Maniord on November 4, 1946.

Leroy is preceded in death by his parents Willis and Mildred, brothers Don & Jude and sisters Rebecca Ballew and Joanelle Raul.

Leroy graduated from Maricopa High School in California in 1964, and then directly entered and proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant until he was honorably discharged in October of 1968 so that he could come home to his childhood sweetheart Edna and marry her in January of 1969. This year they would have been married for 50 years. He took the training he received from the U.S. Air Force and began his career as an master electrician and contractor. In 1972 he became a licensed ordained Baptist minister and began his lifelong dream to share and spread his love for the Lord Jesus Christ. He never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone so that he could speak to them about God's love. After retiring from the electrical contracting in 2003, he returned to his full time sharing his faith in God thru his daily Bible devotions on Facebook and touched more lives throughout the world than he could ever imagine. His followers on Facebook will surely miss their time with him.

Leroy is survived by his loving wife and sons Edna, Matthew & Scott, his chosen daughter Deann and her husband Ray Scott and their daughters Ashley Smith & Lyndsey Moore, his brother John Maniord, his life long loving & spiritual friends Michelle & Gary Jeske & their family Michael, Christopher & Amber Jeske and his four legged doggers Sierra Rose & Akela O'hana.
