Luis Tsuzaki

Luis Masaki Tsuzaki of Henderson, NV passed away on March 17, 2024 at the age of 83.

Luis was born in Trujillo, Peru to Yoshimitsu Tsuzaki and Yachie Morishigue on April 23, 1940. Luis was a very skilled camera technician, a job he held for many years in Florida and California until his retirement to Henderson in December 2005. Once retired he and his wife Teresa Tsuzaki, volunteered at various senior centers in Henderson. Luis was president of the Peru Nissei Association California chapter. Luis stated that he learned English by reading American comic books every day after school and was an avid swimmer in his younger years in Trujillo.

Luis was a very loving dad and grandpa, a caring person who rarely got mad. He will be greatly missed by his family and by all those who knew him. Lucho, as family and close friends knew him, will be forever in our hearts.

Luis is preceded in death by his wife Teresa Miyoko Tsuzaki, his wife of 50 years.

Luis is survived by Teresa and Paul Hale, Nancy Tsuzaki, Elizabeth Tsuzaki, Lincoln Masaki Hale, and Brienne Miyoko Hale.
