Madge A. Mianakian

Madge Farwell Mianakian, 88, of Boulder City, Nevada passed away on January 20, 2011. The daughter of the late Lewis and Isabelle Brushette Farwell, Madge was born July 2, 1922 in Creston, Newfoundland, Canada.

She moved to Niagara Falls, New York and married Michael Mianakian in 1952. She and her beloved Michael moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, following his retirement from the Niagara Falls Police Department to be closer to their daughter Rose and family.

Upon Michaels passing in 1998, she resided in Boulder City with daughter Rose and her 2 grandsons. She was a member of Grace Community Church and the Boulder City Senior Center, where she enjoyed the company of dear friends who will miss her.

Madge is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael, her twin sister Elizabeth Betty Hayes, sister Ada King and brothers, Frank, Sam, and Eli Farwell.

She is survived by her loving daughter Rose Isabelle Henderson, Grandsons Kyle David and Ryan Michael Henderson of Boulder City and sisters Reenie Mayo, Stella Farwell, Mamie Siansbury, and Macey Moulton all of Creston, Newfoundland Canada.

She will be laid to rest at Davis Memorial Park.

Her family would like to invite all those who have known and loved Madge to celebrate her life at a Memorial service to be held at Grace Community Church, 1150 Wyoming Street, Boulder City, Thursday, February 3, at 2:00 pm.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army and Grace Community Church.
