Maggie DeBernardis Cupp passed away suddenly December 3, 2017, at the age of 59. She was born July 19, 1958, In Brooklyn, New York to Amerigo and Helen DeBernardis, the youngest of 11 children. Her family moved to Cranford, where she graduated from Cranford High School. Maggie, being the strong independently driven woman we all knew her to be, decided to move out west and forge her own path. Quickly, she began her career working her way through the ranks and overseeing the development and building of all the new units in the southwest region helping to make Tony Roma's intro one of the most successful and ""name recognized"" barbeque restaurants in the United States. While working diligently to build the the success of Tony Roma's, Maggie's strong entrepreneurial skills drove her to create, produce and market her first interactive dinner show, ""Joey and Maria's Comedy Italian Wedding,"" which then led to the ""Sopranos Last Supper,"" as well as seven other original shows, which ran countrywide, some even in 2017. After the entertainment industry brought her to Las Vegas, she once again challenged herself to do more and became one of the most well-respected, admired and successful women in the city, known for her unparalleled work ethic. She held the position of executive director of group sales with Caesar's entertainment, overseeing more then 70 venues, including Giada's, Rao's, Guy Savoy, Old Homestead and and Martoranos, just to name a few. After leaving Caesar's, Maggie brought her sill and expertise to Black Start Entertainment and then JRS Brands, building the special events department to its most successful ever, overseeing Chateau Nightclub, Hexx Kitchen, Beer Park, and Chayo. Maggie is survived by her two sons, Nicholas and Joseph; sisters, Janet Barton, Rita Zuccala, Beverly Blohme and Darlene Garcia; brothers, Richard and Dennis DeBernardis; many nieces and nephews and their families; as well as hundreds of friends and business acquaintances, whom she touched by her true sparkle! All who knew her, know what a true gift she was and are blessed to have known her. Celebration of life will be 6:30 - 9:00 PM Friday, January 19, at the Paris Hotel, Chateau Nightclub, 3655 South Las Vegas Blvd.
