Marco Westerweel, 67, of Las Vegas, passed away on March 8th, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Marco was born in the Netherlands to Francisco and Arnoldina on June 23rd, 1957.
Marco was a beloved son, brother, husband and step-father, who had a true zest for life. He loved art, music and gathering with family to enjoy a good meal. He graduated from UNLV with a double Bachelor's degree and worked for MGM International as an Identity Access Management & Governance Analyst. Marco married Charita, whom he loved and cared for, spending 21 years together. One of his biggest dreams and accomplishments was publishing a book on beating the odds in Las Vegas casinos titled, "How to be a Percentage Player An Easy Guide to Value Play for the Everyday Joe Six Pack" under his publishing pseudonym 'Hermanus Valieudoghe'.
Marco is preceded in death by both his parents, Francisco and Arnoldina.
Marco is survived by his wife, Charita; his two brothers, David and Jerry; his sister-in-laws, Barbara and Annet; his nephews, Jason, John-Paul, and David; his nieces Nicole and Jennifer; and his two step-children, Maria and Michaelangelo.
A remembrance ceremony for Marco will be held at 5pm, Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 at Davis Funeral Home (6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119), where arrangements were also made.
