Margaret Bellardi

Margaret Bellardi, age 96, of Henderson, NV died Friday, January 27, 2017. Margaret was born August 23, 1920 in New York City. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Paulman) Annes. In 1945, she married the love of her life, Mario Caesar Bellardi, who died only 3 months ago in October, 2016. They were happily married for 71 years and only were apart for the last 3 months. During her life she worked for the American Red Cross, Schirmer Publishing Company, and the Lipton Tea Company. Margaret and Mario ran the family owned business, ""Bellardi and Stasi Pastries"" in New York City for 14 years. In 1979, they moved to Palm Desert, CA and managed the Zantman Art Gallery for 20 years. After retirement, they moved to Henderson NV. Margaret is survived by 2 daughters, Adela Stella and her husband Richard of Mission Viejo, CA, and Janet Belden and her husband, William of Ellington, CT; 3 grandchildren, Jill Thomas of Coto de Caza, CA, Juliet Popovich and her husband Freddy of Dudley MA and Jay Belden and his wife Katie of Vernon, CT; and 4 great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Marina, Alek and Samantha. She also leaves behind a niece, Eloise Webb and her husband, Jeff of Mesa AZ, and a nephew, Billy Annes and his wife, Beverly also of Mesa AZ. Visiting hours are from 4:00 - 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 1 at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV with a prayer service held at 7:00pm. Burial will take place at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV on Thursday, February 2 at 9:20am.
