Maria Ramona Barton

Maria Ramona Barton, 64, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2017 after fighting a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on August 28, 1952 in Baja California, Mexico. She came to the United States on a student visa in 1971 and completed her education in 1973. She pursued her culinary passion though her career with United Airlines. After 22 years at United, and 10 years at The Tropicana Hotel and Casino, she retired in 2007 to focus on sharing amazing culinary skills, kind heart, and an unconditional smile with her family full time.

Proceeded her in rest are her father Francisco and sister Brenda. Left to cherish her memory are her mother Acela, husband of 35 years Charlie, her children and their spouses Aaron/Melissa, Yesenia/Jeff, and Lorenzo/Mayra, and her grandchildren Monica, Logan, Jade, Christian, Kaden, Alora and Miranda and her siblings: Biatriz, Vicente, Abraham, Francisco, Livier and Licha.

A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church 4490 Mountain Vista St. Las Vegas, NV 89121. The funeral to follow immediately at Davis Funeral Home 6200 S. Eastern Ave Las Vegas, NV 89119
