Marilyn G Smith

Marilyn G. Smith, 79, of Henderson, passed away April 30, 2014. She was born Aug. 22, 1934, in Maryland, and was a 56year resident of Nevada. Marilyn retired from Channel 8. The energetic woman was involved in the Anthem Card Club as well as the beading group. She cherished friendships formed from Channel 8, prior neighborhoods, as well as the St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was loved deeply by all who knew her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister two brothers and son, Corey Smith. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, of 43 years, Paul Smith son, Steve Kathy Smith daughter, Paulette Danny DeMint son, Randy Esther Smith seven grandchildren eight greatgrandchildren one greatgreatgrandchild and four nephews. Viewing will be noon2 p.m. Thursday, May 8, with services following, both at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services following at Davis Memorial Park.
