Mario C. Bellardi, age 95, of Henderson, NV died Sunday, October 16, 2016. Mario (Caesar) was born May 15, 1921 in New York City. He is the son of the late Charles and Adele (Stasi) Bellardi. Mario graduated from Columbia University in 1941 and worked for Glemby Advertising Agency until he was drafted. He served in the Army, as a Ranger during World War II. Upon his return home he married the love of his life, Margaret (Annes) in 1945. When his father became ill, he took over the family business, Bellardi & Stasi pastry store in New York City. In 1979, they moved to Palm Desert CA, and managed Zantman Art Gallery for 20 years. After retirement, they moved to Henderson NV. Mario is survived by Margaret, his wife of 71 years; 2 daughters, Adela Stella and husband Rich of Mission Viejo, CA, Janet Belden and husband Bill of Ellington, CT; 3 grandchildren, Jill Thomas of Coto de Caza, CA, Juliet Popovich and husband Freddy of Dudley, MA, Jay Belden and wife Katie of Vernon, CT; 4 great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Marina, Alek and Samantha. He also leaves behind a niece, Eloise Webb and husband, Jeff of Mesa, AZ, a nephew Billy Annes and wife, Beverly of Mesa, AZ, and a cousin France's Diaz and husband, Arturo of Naples FL. Visiting hours are from 2-5pm at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas NV, ending with a Mass of Christian Burial at 5pm. Burial will take place at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. , Boulder City, NV. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Veterans Administration.
