Markan Zeljko was born in Donji Crnac (Bosnia Herzegovina) on February 23, 1959, to the parents of Mirko Zeljko and Mara Rezic.

Markan grew up in Bosnia  Herzego Vina and came to the United States in 1944.

Markan moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he was a professional painter. Markan also worked in some of the local casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Markan met Terri Yvette Thompson in Las Vegas, Nevada. Markan and Terri were married on May 3, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Markan lived in Las Vegas, Nevada until his death on January 20, 2020.

Markan passed away in his home in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 20, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his memory a sister, a brother, his niece (Bosnia, Herzegovina), and a host of other relatives and friends.

The Zeljko and Thompson family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers.
