Martin "Marty" Exber

Martin (Marty) Exber died peacefully at Nathan Adelson Hospice on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 84. Marty is survived by his wife Judy Exber; children Resa Smith (Doug) and Shari Scheele (Glen Brown); grandchildren Hilary Friedman (Ian), Leslie Lanphear (Jesse), Zachary Scheele and Evan Smith; and great-grandchild Kennedy Lanphear. Marty was born on June 10, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from RCA Institute and served as a Radarman Second Class in the Navy. Upon his honorable discharge, Marty married the love of his life, Judy. They honeymooned and moved to Las Vegas and lived there for 60 years. Marty was a casino executive at the Las Vegas Club and El Cortez. A private burial is scheduled for Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Following the private burial that day, a celebration of Marty's life will take place at the family residence from 4-8 p.m. The family would like to thank DaVita Summerlin Dialysis Center for their years of love, compassion and care.
