Mary Lorenza Montano, a retired porter, 66, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 18, 2011. She was born March 3, 1945, in Greeley, Colo., and was a 27year resident of Nevada. Mary was retired from Binions Horseshoe after 27 years. She was a beloved mother and was so excited for her upcoming baby grandson, due this December. She loved listening to her oldies, going to the movies, watching football, and betting on her parlay cards. She loved fine dining and family time. She was an inspiration to all around her. The love she showed for her family and friends was unconditional. Mom, you are now our guardian angel and you will always be with us. We are so honored to have had you in our lives. Mary is survived by her husband, Alfonzo Montano daughters, Alice Goldstein and Mary Franz sonsinlaw, Danny Goldstein and Chris Franz five stepchildren, Sandra Gardner, Toni Ramirez, Richard Montano, Chris Montano and Alfred Montano grandmother to soontoarrive baby Franz, Anthony Ramirez, Candida Montoya, Jennifer Montano and Drew Donovan sisters, Lily Sanchez and Dorothy Gonzalez brothers, Victor Carrillo, Bob Carrillo, Steve Billo, Tommy Martinez and Arthur Garcia. Memorials services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
