Mary Salton

Mary Jane Salton, 78, of Milan, Illinois, passed away on 24 March 2023 in Las Vegas Nevada.

Mary was born in Rock Island, Illinois, on 3 December 1944, and is preceded in death by her father Herb Smith and mother Drucilla Smith.

Shortly after marriage Mary joined her husband as an air force family and traveled the world supporting his career and their children, Mary and George were married for 62 years.

She is survived by her husband George Salton; daughter Audrey Lynn Salton-Balque and son-in-law Patrick Balque; son George Salton Jr.; brother Herb Smith and his wife Connie; and her many friends, family, and Nellis Air Force Base Exchange Services work colleagues. Mary retired from the Army Air Force Exchange services after more than 20 years of outstanding performance. She was a great, charitable friend who supported many Air Force social and family programs.

Visitation will be held 2:00pm to 4:00pm, 4 April 2023 at Davis Funeral Homes and Memorial Park, 6200  S Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89119. Funeral service will follow immediately after, 4:00PM – 5:00PM, officiated by Reverend H. Allen Smith.
