Matthew A. Viglione

Our beloved Matto passed away in his sleep, on Tuesday 7213.
Matto was the son of Sam Viglione of Big Bear Lake, Ca. and Cecil Viglione of Las Vegas, NV. He is survived by his beautiful daughters Jade and Angelina Viglione of Campbell, N.Y., and their mother Leslie. His daughters were the light of his life and a comfort to him during his lengthy illness. He was the cherished baby brother of his sisters Michelle and Maria and brother Mike. Matt was born and raised in Orange County, Ca., where he excelled in both youth soccer and baseball. He attended Canyon High School, had many friends and played baseball there as well. He was a great and loyal friend and companion and had a zany sense of humor capable of making you laugh and feel good about yourself. He was a clever carpenter and handyman, working as maintenance manager for a number of condo complexes in Orange County, as well as a sportsman He accepted many of the challenges presented to him, including climbing the Sierras and the John Muir Trail with his Dad. Matt was the light of his family and we will miss him immensely He moved to Las Vegas a few years ago, to assist his Mother as a caregiver, and companion, generously offering his time and energies to caring for her daily needs, in addition with the remodeling and maintenance of her home, even while his own health was deteriorating. He had an affinity for snakes and other reptiles, a love he shared with both his daughters, at times much to the chagrin of his parents and step mother, Dayle Viglione. He is survived also by his brotherinlaw Mike Sirota, and Tom Johnson, sisterinlaw Christine Viglione, step brother Herve Ouellette and wife Audrie and step sisters Frances Ouellette and Yvonne Toolson and husband Joe. His nieces, Sarah Hall and husband Mike, Ashley Sirota and Haley Viglione, Danielle and Jennifer Ouellette who will miss his sense of humor and his smile, as will his nephews, Michael and Jonathan Sirota and Matthew and Anthony Viglione.
A memorial service will be held at San Antonio Catholic Church in Anaheim Hills, Ca. on August 17. 2013at 10am.
