Melvin Douglas Holi

Melvin Douglas Holi, 47, of Honolulu, passed away on May 22nd, 2020 in Las Vegas. Melvin was born in Portland to Rose Christina Lalau and Marvin Hoapili Holi on January 24th, 1973.

He graduated from Radford High School in 1991 and attended college at the University of Hawaii, the University of Colorado, and the University of Oklahoma. He managed multiple businesses throughout his life, mostly in the hospitality industry, and was known as a mentor and leader. He enjoyed the freedom of being an independent contractor in his final years.

Melvin is preceded in death by his parents Rose Christina Lalau and Marvin Hoapili

Melvin is survived by his life partner, Liane; his daughter, Kristella; his brothers and sisters, Jerimiah, Claudine, and Anna; along with their respective spouses, Sina, John, and Travis; his many nieces and nephews; and countless close friends.
