Michael Dean Comer

Michael Dean Comer, passed away suddenly on August 22, 2021, in Las Vegas NV at the age of 59. 

 

Michael is survived by his loving wife Edith Gillespie, his two daughters Makenna and Miranda Gillespie: as well as his father Wesley Dean Comer, and his two brothers Randy and Daniel Comer. He is predeceased by his mother Patricia Comer, and his grandfather Wesley Clark Comer.

 

Michael was born in San Diego, California on February 28, 1962. He graduated from Mt. Miguel High School in 1980 and eventually worked for Total Electronics. He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada and worked for Reyes Coca-Cola, most recently as a logistics manager. On May 14th, 2005, he married Edith Gillespie and later adopted her two daughters.

 

Michael was a loving husband and father and was known as Mike to his friends and family. He was an avid bike rider, enjoyed technology, and was Microsoft certified. He had fun on road trips with his family and especially enjoyed Lake Tahoe. Mike was handy and often took on projects around the house to make improvements. He was selfless and worked hard to support his family and took pride in being a dance dad for his two daughters. When not working, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughters as well as his three chihuahuas. He was an outstanding example of a husband, father, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends, and all who knew him.

 

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on September 25th at Davis Funeral Home located at 1401 S Rainbow Blvd. All who knew him and would like to celebrate his life are welcome.
