Michael Patrick Golden, a Las Vegas attorney, passed away March 24, 2011 from a heart attack. Mike was born in San Diego, October 3, 1946.
He attended Saint Augustine High School in San Diego, Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., and California Western School of Law in San Diego, graduating in 1976. Mike was an avid golfer, lettering in high school and college. He excelled as a competitive small boat sailor. His interests included San Diego Charger football, breeding Airedale dogs, and restoration of Porsches.
He practiced law in Reno, Pahrump, Tonopah, and Las Vegas. Mikes law career included Nye County Deputy District Attorney, Referee for the Nevada Workers Compensation and several private firms, including Riddle and Associates, where he worked the last 15 years of his life.
Mr. Golden is survived by his mother, Jane Golden of San Diego sisters, Peggy Cling of San Francisco, and Kathleen Golden of McCall, Idaho and brother, Thomas Golden of San Diego.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Davis Funeral Home located at 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.
