Michael Robinson

Michael Dion Robinson Jr. departed this life and went home on October 6, 2024; at 44 years old.

Michael was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 12, 1980; to the union of Michael D. Robinson Sr. and Lisa Marie Robinson(Hodge). Growing up in a military family, Michael traveled around the world from an early age, living in the states of Arkansas, Arizona, Maryland, N. Carolina, and Belgium, before settling in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Michael served in the U.S. Army, in the communications field; along with his military career, he obtained airborne status, along with many other military accolades. The courage, bravery, and skills he showed parachuting out of military aircraft, were traits he showed throughout his life. Michael was an extreme sports athlete who loved the thrill and challenge; of snowboarding, skydiving, mixed martial arts, baseball, and track/field; if there was a challenge in front of him, he took it head-on and completed the challenge with all his heart. After serving time in the Army, he began his career as an Inside Journeyman Wireman with local union hall IBEW 357, where he excelled for 16 years. In his free time, he enjoyed cruising on his motorcycle, participating with his children in all activities, rooting for his beloved Vegas Golden Knights, and spending time with his family.

More than anything, Michael loved being a father and grandfather. He is survived by his children: Cyrus Z. Robinson, Dejhana J. Robinson, Michael D. Robinson III, Ephron M. Robinson, Ke’Mal M. Robinson, Zaiden M. Robinson, and his granddaughter Kiana M. Robinson; as well as his sister, Taylisha N. Burton, his father, Michael D. Robinson Sr.; and a host of loving family and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa M. Robinson(Hodge), and his brother, Manzo L. Robinson.
