Michele Maugeri died on May 18, 2017 at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Miami, Florida on August 20, 1965, and was a gift to her father, Michael Maugeri, on his birthday. She was raised in Florida by her father and her beautiful late mother, Elnora Maugeri along with her older brother Michael Maugeri and her eldest sibling Kim Marie Maugeri. In 1995, she gave birth to her only child Alexis Maugeri, to whom she was a loving and dedicated single mother. Michele had an intense wander lust during her lifetime, having traveled overseas to Italy, England, Greece, and Australia as well as throughout the United States. Her great love was the sea. While living in Florida, she'd frequent the ocean with her friends and family, sharing the joys of the waves and sea breeze. As well as traveling, cooking was one of her greatest passions, being Italian and born into a family of great cooks, she'd painstakingly craft meals for her loved ones to enjoy with her. Words cannot express the impact of her life's presence. To every soul who encountered her, she left an everlasting impression, radiating a zest for life and it's most precious moments. Across her home, she'd have the phrase displayed prominently, ""Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."" She will be forever missed by her family and loved ones as well as by everyone who was blessed to know her. A memorial service in her honor will be held in Davis Funeral home on Friday, May 26 from 1 pm to 2 pm.
