Mohan Reddy Marri

Mohan Reddy Marri, 79, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and friend was called to his eternal resting place on January 23, 2025. He entered this world on July 1, 1945 in Hyderabad, India born the eldest child, to Marri Penta Reddy and Marri Satyamma. He is survived by wife Dr Ramalakshmi Marri; two daughters Neelema Reddy and Dr Maaya Marri; son-in-laws Vikram Reddy and Ravinder Dugnoor; grandsons Adhvith Reddy, Milin Dugnoor and Romil Dugnoor; granddaughter Manya Reddy. 


His early years of education were spent in the old city of Hyderabad which always held a special place in his heart. He realized he was gifted in math and pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. He went on to receive his Masters at City University of New York. Before settling in Virginia, he and Ramalakshmi lived in Huntsville, Alabama and Columbia, South Carolina where his first child was born. He spent the next 40 years of his career working at General Electric & Northrup Grumman in Charlottesville, Virginia. It is there where he and his wife happily raised their family and built their life. He will be remembered for his kindness, friendliness and relaxed nature. 


A funeral service will be held on Sunday February 9, 2025 at 9:30am at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
