Myra Davis Jolly

Myra Davis Jolly, age 67, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at her home.

Myra was born in Richmond, Missouri to Kenneth and Darlene Davis on May 17, 1952. She was a graduate of Richmond High School, class of 1970.  

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Denver Jolly in 2006, her sister Sandra Davis, her sister Laura Richardson, father Kenneth Davis, and mother, Darlene Claypole. 

Myra is survived by daughter Lavonna Renee Mills, son-in-law Dean Mills, sister Tana Davis Giermann, brother-in-law Dale Giermann, niece, Kaitlyn Blair Appleby, stepmother Linda Davis, five Grandchildren (Crystal Paull, Lauren West, Breonna West, Cody Harvey, and Tori Lynn Mills), and eight Great Grandchildren. 

She was an avid race fan, enjoying Sprint Car racing and NASCAR events, and was a fixture at local dirt tracks for 30 years. She was especially fond of the now-defunct Ascot Raceway Park in Gardena, California where she met the love of her life, Larry Jolly. Myra was also an avid NBA fan who loved the Golden State Warriors. In her later years, her favorite companion was her chihuahua, Girlie, who was at her side until the very end.
