Nancy Sansone, 80, of Las Vegas passed away on November 11, 2015. She was born July 8, 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she lived until she and her husband, Frank, moved their family to Las Vegas in 1968. Nancy was a wonderful mother of five and grandmother of six. For her, family came first. She was a part of many clubs and groups, and her friends were important to her. She had a way of making everybody feel welcome and special. After raising her children, she worked for many years as a Pit Clerk at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas. In retirement, she wrote and published a Las Vegas-based suspense novel, Calling Her Name.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and beloved husband, Frank. She is survived by her five children, Christine (Steve) Boyle, Rick (Brenda) Sabo, Gary (Kristi) Sabo, Jodi (Jim) Neely, and Frank (Jill) Sansone; and her six grandchildren Sean, Derek, Tera, Matthew, Alex, and Abby; along with a large extended family in Las Vegas and Wisconsin.
Visitation will be 5-8pm, Thursday, November 19, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas. Services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, November 20, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 130 North Pecos Road, Henderson, with a reception and burial following.
