Nelly Mathilde Jeanne Magwood

Nelly M. J. Magwood, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010. She was born July 23, 1938, in Grougis Aisne, France.

Nelly married Major Magwood in Las Vegas, in 1968. The couple moved to Nevada in 1970, with Majors three small children from a previous marriage. She began working as a food server at the MGM Grand and Bally Hotels, until her retirement in 1990.

Nelly was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Emilienne FlamentOverlaux sister, Jenny Flament Hideux and son, Adam Lahoussine.

She is survived by her grandson, Jerome Lahoussine and his wife, Evane LahoussineLemaitre and two greatgrandsons, Alexi and Teo Lahoussine. Nelly also leaves behind her husband, Major E. Magwood and stepdaughters, Ida Catherine Lamb and France Eva Christine Pitt. There are also numerous of her sisters offspring surviving in France, including nephews, Guy and Claude Hideux, and their families and niece, Martine Hideux Lepousez and her family.
