Norman Earl Walker

November 3, 1935 — September 11, 2016

Our beloved father, Norman Earl Walker, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the age of 80. He was born in Reno, Nevada, to Earl Wadsworth and Dorothy Norma (McLeod) Walker.

Norm played football at Basic High School and then at Dixie College. He served in the National Guard for several years. He loved to race cars and he and his dad built a record-breaking dragster together. He worked for Jakes Crane & Rigging for 45 years and helped build much of the Las Vegas skyline. He was a devout member of the LDS Church and his greatest joy was to serve others.

He is proceeded in death by his son, Norman Craig Walker, and his sweetheart of 51 years, Naomi Raye Alexander Walker. He is survived by his son, Charles Scott Walker, and daughter, Melinda Rae Barney, as well as three grandchildren: Michaela, McKennan, and Mitchel Sudweeks.

Our dad was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
