Pacita Galit Gohier, 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on July 13, 2020 in Henderson, NV.
Pacita G. Gohier was born in Lao-ang, Northern Samar, Philippines to Emeterio Galit and Carolina Mercader on November 25, 1940.
Pacita known as Tita Pacing to her family was a true Filipina. She was always putting other people’s needs before her own. In the Philippines, Christmas was her favorite holiday. She made sure all her relatives, especially her nieces and nephews, were together to share this special day. She made this time festive with plenty of food and presents for everyone. She was also very generous helping different family members come to the United States and providing for her family back home.
Her favorite hobbies were sewing, cooking, playing majong, solitaire, and reading a good mystery.
Pacita G. Gohier is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Wilcox Gohier and siblings: Louis Del Moro, Crisencia Cadiz, Zosimo Galit and Anatolia Sabarre of the Philippines.
Pacita G. Gohier is survived by partner: Doug Sidwell of Las Vegas, NV, 3 sons: Jessie Alarcon and daughter-in-law, Rosemarie of Bobon, N. Samar, Philippines, Peter Alarcon of Honolulu, HI, John Gohier and daughter-in-law, Paula of Ardmore, TN and daughter: Sonia King (Gohier) and son-in-law, Bill of Olalla, WA, 5 sisters: Florencia Rameriz, Lecita Galit, Aurora Mingoa, Cecilia Pulga of the Philippines and Estrella Geliberte of Las Vegas, NV, and 14 grandchildren: Jessica, Jessy Rose, Lady Jessie Marie and John Robert Alarcon, Pamela Alarcon, Malia and Adrian Gohier, Rachel, Abigail, Hannah, Emma, Daniel, Olivia, and Isaac King.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, Nevada 89119.
Memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Las Vegas, Nevada 89119.
