Patricia Ann Cook

Patricia Ann Cook, 65, of Henderson, passed away July 26, 2011, at home. Mrs. Cook was born June 20, 1946, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Arthur and Irene Bailey.

She attended Arizona State University, graduating in 1968 with a bachelors degree in educations. She continued her studies earning two master degrees from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a doctorate from Johns Hopkins University becoming a Fellow.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, teacher and mentor. She defined her life by strong dedication to family, friends, children and her love for animals.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Cook son and daughter, Sean and Kelly Cook and four grandchildren, Dana and Jake Petty and Katelyn and Emma Cook.
