When Patricia was a young girl, she worked at the Country Club so she could earn money. She loved to roller-skate and was also in charge of the skate rentals at the rink. She always said the best part of the job was her getting to roller-skate. When Patricia was a young adult, she worked for the local telephone company as a telephone operator. She loved to deliver messages and really enjoyed her job. The last job that Patricia had was on the Las Vegas Strip at all the different Hotels she was a costume and wardrobe seamstress for a lot of the famous stars that performed on the strip from the early 1970’s through the late 1980’s. She was an amazing and very talented seamstress.
She loved her church and enjoyed giving her service to the members at the St. Viator’s Catholic Church. She worked so hard at all the things she had done.
Patricia had many talents and she loved to make things. She was a China Painter and made porcelain dolls. She made so many beautiful quilts and loved to embroidery, toll paint, cake decorating and I don’t think there was anything that she couldn’t do. She was just so amazing.
She always made friends with everyone she came into contact with and was so loved by everyone and especially her family.

She is survived by her son Bill Lee Vogel Jr. Her daughter Susan (Vogel) Jenkins. She was also survived by her two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Patricia was a wonderful, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and a good friend to all. She will be terribly missed but never forgotten.
At the end of a phone call or when leaving her house her favorite saying was.
“I love you a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck.”
